                             is a diverse actor with a talent for charcter comedy. In 2019 she was nominated for Best Actress in The Wales International Film Festival.  As a child Sara growing up in South London she watched a lot of classic movies,   she was enthralled by her favourite: The Wizard of Oz, being especially terrified and fascinated by the Wicked Witch of The West.  This keen interest in drama lead her to sign up with Greenwich Young People's Theatre.  After graduating with a BA hons in Creative Arts from Trent University, she she quickly won roles in theatre and TV and film  the early 90's Sara founded her own drama school for children and

subsequently worked with the National Youth Theatre touring Shakespeare workshops for schools around the UK.

After raising a family she turned her attention to writing and directing along side resuming her acting career.  Her first short Pic n Mix won a commendation at The Greenwich Film Festival and was bought by BA and TWA for Inflight Entertainment.  As well as roles in many of the films she has written and directed Sara  over her career she has worked with Bill Hayes in Time After Time for The BBC, A Question of Guilt directed by Stuart Orme and Peter Richardson of Comic Strip fame's the comedy Space Virgins From Planet Sex with Dawn French and Jenifer Saunders. Other TV appearances have included Accentuate The Positive for Channel 4 alongside Gary Kemp and Richard Dormer.  Her film work includes the thriller A Kiss Before Dying starring Matt Dillon. Among the numerous theatre roles she played a Russion revolutionary alongside John Michie and Frances Barber in The October Revolution directed by Vanessa Rredgrave at The Riverside Studios.

Championing female actors over 50, Sara is writing her own material for her production company Flintspark Productions while looking for inspiring roles that reflect the lives of these women.  See the Flintspark Productions section of the site for more on Sara's writing and directing and what is in store.
